For your American Girl.

Here's to a fabulous holiday weekend for all! May your Memorial Day be filled with sunshine, cookouts, and all things summer... and may we all take time to remember the brave men and women we lost who gave us the freedom to enjoy wonderful days such as this!

To get ready for the weekend, be sure to stop by Old Navy today to stock up on flip flops for the whole family... today only, they are all $1 per pair (in store only). While you're there, you may want to check out these precious patriotic frocks if you've got a sweet little girl to dress...

The boys' "July 4th" collection is a bit of a snooze, but Old Navy has some really cute pieces for girls. And while the $1 flip flops are hard to pass up, how stinkin' cute are these metallic T-strap thongs for little feet? I love seeing adult trends downsized for baby - it doesn't always work, but this sandal is drool-worthy for sure.

Have a safe and happy holiday, mommas!

From top to bottom, left to right: Ruffled star-print swimsuit, $10 on sale (from $14.50); Smocked printed dress in Seeing Red, $14.50; Bandana print sunhat, $9.50; Patriotic print flip-flops, $5 (or $1 TODAY in stores!); Metallic thong sandals in gold or silver, $8.50.

New Fabric Collections!

If you were browsing around Javis Davis' site last week, you may've noticed two new collections that popped up. First, let's discuss how stinkin' cute this new "Robot" fabric group is... I love the rocket and robot figures in the main fabric, and the collection as a whole highlights one of my favorite color combos - orange and pool blue. Orange is such a fun color, but it often gets left in the crayon box. It's time to break it out!

Also recently added at Javis Davis is the beautiful "Bollywood" collection with this gorgeous paisley print leading the pack. I am loving the warm, deep purple mixed in with some cooler shades of pink and violet, and a splash of (once again) orange! A little girl with this fabulous bedding is sure to have some sass. Feast your eyes on a couple of crib bedding combos designed with the Bollywood fabrics...

Hop on Javis Davis and play around with these fun new collections and see what you can come up with... the possibilities are endless. And don't forget - you don't have to use all the fabrics in any given collection. Notice I didn't use the paisley print at all in that last crib design. You can work with as many or as few of the fabrics as you want. It's all about creating the perfect look for you and your little one!

Quick and Easy Style: Fashionable Feet

You'll go far in a great pair of shoes, so there's no doubt you'll make tracks in these fabulous sandals by OKA b. Not only do they look great, they're about as practical as a shoe can get. Mommas, get ready to toss those unmentionable hot pink clogs you've been sporting...

Made right here in Georgia, OKA b. sandals started out as a collection of spa shoes, found only at select spas across the nation. Savvy spa goers fell in love with the look and feel of these shoes and wanted more, and OKA b. obliged! With ergonomic footbeds, there's no need to sacrifice style for comfort. Each shoe is crafted into one durable, lightweight piece that's dishwasher safe. That's right... so when Junior tosses his cookies on your feet, you can toss your sandals on the top rack.

Their non-slip soles will keep you where you moms need to be -- on your feet. And at these prices ($25 - 40/pair), there's just no excuse not to step out in style this spring.

Pictured above from Left to Right, Top to Bottom: Hannah in Hot Chocolate, $30; Madison in Kiwi with pink/green floral scarf, $30; Malia in Licorice, $35; Grace in Turquoise, $25; Sophie in Platinum, $25; Leila in Popsicle Pink, $25.

You say overstock, I say stock up!

What's almost as good as being spoiled on Mother's Day? How about a warehouse full of delicious duds for your tots at rock-bottom prices? Leave the kids at home and grab the checkbook, mommas...

Divine Consign is coming to Atlanta Friday, May 14th for a two-day blowout sale in Buckhead. Boutiques and designers from all over will have their overstocks drastically reduced - and all under one roof. But don't expect a leisurely afternoon shopping trip, sipping on cappuccinos with your girlfriends... This is a sport, mommas, so grab your bat and put your game face on.

Shoppers, be sure to read up on the guidelines for more information. Note that no strollers are allowed and the only accepted forms of payment are cash and check. No credit or debit cards! Volunteers are also needed to pull this event off, so if you're interested in carrying a shift or two (usually 2-3 hours per shift), you'll be allowed to shop before the sale opens to the general public... which means you get first dibs on the goods! For more details on volunteer opportunities, hop over here.

The Atlanta Spring Overstock Show will be held in the old Linens & Things location in the Publix / Barnes and Noble shopping center off Peachtree Street in Buckhead. Don't miss out!

When you got it, flaunt it.

Walls never looked more fabulous than when graced with your sweet baby's face. But are you looking to get a little more creative with your photo displays? Mommas, get ready to add a new site to your *favorites* list...

Art has no boundaries, so why should your photos? Grab your sweetest shots and create some frameless canvas prints at UpDone. This is a fab site where you can upload your pics and have them printed on stretched canvas and assembled on wood frames, immediately ready for hanging or display. Choose to have your image printed only on the face of the canvas, or have it wrapped like these examples below.

UpDone prints and assembles the frames within a few days and gets them right to your doorstep before you can say "Awwww!" For an even more budget friendly price, you can opt to assemble the frames yourself. But I'm too much of a goof for that... I'd have the thing stapled to my pants somehow before it was said and done.

I have first hand experience with this company and the end product is truly fab, especially for the price. I was very, very impressed with the speedy delivery and the quality of the images. Click on over to their site to get a feel for how they price their items. You'll pay a lot less per item if you order more than one, so load up! Create a couple of larger prints to use in different areas, or maybe a bunch of smaller prints to form a tiled display on a larger wall space. The options are endless, and the memories? Unforgettable.
